Homemade granola without nuts

04 juni 2016

So as I said before, making your own granola is better than buying it at the supermarket. I made a batch of granola without nuts because my brother is allergic to them. Best sister ever. If you're allergic like him or simply don't like nuts: here is the recipe!

Want to try the recipe with nuts? You can find it here!

INGREDIENTS (7-8 portions)
- 125gr oats
- 65gr honey
- 30gr melted coconut oil
- 30gr sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut powder
- cinnamon
- 30gr dried cranberries

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Mix the oats, sunflower seeds and coconut powder in a bowl.

Mix the honey and melted coconut oil with one teaspoon of hot water in a small bowl. Add this and some cinnamon to the dry ingredients and mix carefully.

Spread the mixture out evenly on a baking sheet or in an oven dish. Put it in the middle of the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes.

Let the granola cool in your turned off oven, with the door halfway opened. Mix the dried cranberries with the granola. You can add whatever dried fruit you like: raisins, dried banana etc.

Make sure to keep it in an airthight container if you want your granola to stay nice and crispy!

Lots of love,
